This last year has been challenging for many Federal grantees and subrecipients.  Among the biggest challenges was avoiding distractions (including the government shutdown) while remaining in compliance with the requirements of the Uniform Grants Guidance (better known as the “OMB Super Circular”).  To help grant-funded organizations like yours meet these challenges, the special theme of the Western Grants Forum 2019 is “Mastering the OMB Super Circular.”  When you attend Western Grants Forum 2019 in Anaheim, you will learn about the Super Circular’s key rules and how to ensure compliance with the Uniform Grants Guidance.  This year’s agenda includes a deep dive into the procurement standards, one of the most confusing areas for grant-funded entities, and the conference will also examine the lessons learned from the government shutdown and how your organization can become “shutdown proof.”  Make plans to join us in Southern California on April 2 – 3, 2019, to learn how to master the OMB Super Circular.

Full, Two-Day OMB Uniform Grants Guidance Training

Grants management challenges and the requirements of the OMB’s Uniform Grants Guidance (better known as the “Super Circular” or “Omnicircular”) continue to evolve.  The Super Circular touches all phases of grants management, and failure to follow the Super Circular’s requirements can result in serious compliance problems and even loss of your grant funding.  Therefore, to effectively manage your grants and avoid these issues (regardless of whether your organization is a grantee, pass-through entity, or subrecipient), you must understand the Super Circular and how to navigate its requirements.  This special training will not only explain for you the Super Circular’s requirements, but will also go beyond the basics to address common issues and how to avoid them as well as recent legislative, policy, and legal developments to help you stay up-to-date on current grants requirements.

By attending this two-day conference in San Diego on September 21 and 22, you will learn how to navigate the Super Circular to better manage your grants, avoid problem territory, and keep your grants on solid ground.  In addition, you will have multiple opportunities to get answers to your most pressing questions about grants management.
